    Eligibility: Painting, Photography, Drawing, Mixed Media, Objects, and Digital Art. Entries are to be submitted in JPEG format.
    Deadline: January 25, 2009, but NeoPopRealism Starz encourages submissions earlier rather than later.

    Awards: 1st: collectible glass plate with Nadia Russ' artwork on it, limited edition (1 of 7), estimated value $4,000; 2nd: $300 and a collection of coffee-table books published by Europe leading publishing companies; 3rd: $100 and a complimentary entry to the next NeoPopRealism Starz Art Competition online. All winners will be interviewed by the NeoPopRealism Journal in February, 2009, and will have their work displayed in the Honored Artists' section.

    Oklahoma Art in Public Places: Calls for Artists and Requests for Qualifications

    1st International Online Art Competition
    Deadline: January 25, 2009
    NeoPopRealism Starz and NeoPopRealism Journal & Wonderpedia invite
    artists and photographers to participate in 1st International Art Competition online.

    Three winners will be selected and interviewed by the NeoPopRealism Journal & Wonderpedia in February, 2009

    Competition is open to artists working in 2- and 3-dimensional mediums.
    Submission fee: $7 per image (artists can submit the unlimited number of images).

    Juror: NeoPopRealism creator Nadia Russ.

    Three winners will be selected and announced by Juror on January 30, 2009.

    Winners will receive the following Prizes: 1st - collectible glass plate with Nadia Russ' artwork on it, limited edition (1 of 7), estimated value $4,000; 2nd - $300 and series of coffee-table art books published by Europe leading publishers; 3rd - $100 and complimentary entry to the next NeoPopRealism Starz competition.

    TEXAS NEIGHBORS REGIONAL ART EXHIBITION
    Call for Entries 2009
    Deadline: Tuesday, January 27, 2009

    Eligibillity: Open to all artists 18 and older living in Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana

    Awards:Best of Show - $1500, Irving Arts Center Award of Excellence - $1000, Irving Arts Center Award of Excellence - $750
    Each of the 4 categories: 1st - $500 2nd - $400, 3rd - $300, Honorable Mention - $100

    Requirements: Works must classify in one of the following categories;

    1. Oil or Acrylic on canvas
    2. Water media on paper.
    3. Mixed media – collage, calligraphy, hand-pulled prints or the use of two or more mediums. Collage must incorporate two-dimensional, self-created elements.
    4. Drawing – includes Pastel, Color Pencil, Graphite, Ink, Silver, Gold, Conte Crayon, etc.

    Submitted works of art must be two-dimensional originals completed within the last two years without instructor supervision. Works previously accepted into the Texas and Neighbors Regional Art Exhibition are ineligible.

    Ineligible Works: Works must no be copies of other artist’s work (including photographs) and must not be a series or part of a series. Computer generated, photographic and offset printed works are ineligible.

    Submissions: Each artist may submit up to 3 works of art on-line OR on a non-returnable CD.

    Fees: Non-refundable Entry fee of $35 allows up to 3 entries per artist made payable to Irving Art Association
